New York: The United States granted Chinese telecom Huawei another 45 days to maintain business with American companies.
As per details, the new conditional permit expires on May 15. Earlier to the extension, the previous license was set to run out on April 1. United States authorities said that they would blacklist Huawei from the US market and from buying essential American apparatus.
The US authorities have expressed fears that Huawei tools could contain security loopholes that set aside China to spy on world communications traffic.
On the other hand, US companies and people demanded of the government to find alternative suppliers for Huawei’s telecommunications equipment and software.
US administration approved a provisional license for Huawei company, extended for 90 days in November and then for 45 days in February.
