The live broadcast will be held on ABC this year. Due to the DirecTV and Disney carriage dispute, those with DirecTV might not be able to access the ABC feed if a deal is not reached ahead of the ceremony.
DirecTV in search of other ways to view the ceremony can access it via Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, Sling or YouTube TV. Free trials are available for these services, but full subscriptions will cost extra.
Nominations
FX shows are dominating this year’s Emmy nominations, with Shōgun picking up 25 nominations and The Bear picking up 23.
Note that since the Emmy eligibility period runs from June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024, these nominations are for The Bear’s second season, not the recently released (and slightly underwhelming) third season.
