How to download movies and shows from Netflix on your iPhone & Android

Sometimes a spotty internet connection makes it hard to keep boredom at bay. Fortunately, offline viewing comes in handy, allowing you to catch up on shows and movies you’ve been meaning to watch but haven’t had the time for.

As one of the world’s most popular streaming services, Netflix offers a convenient download feature, enabling users to save their favorite movies and shows for offline viewing anytime.

Netflix has now announced that iOS users will finally be able to download an entire season of a TV series with a single tap—a feature previously available only on Android devices.

The download feature is now accessible on iOS devices, in addition to Android, Amazon Kindle Fire, Fire tablets, and Chromebooks. However, downloading Netflix content is no longer supported on Windows-based machines.

Download a TV show or movie

1.         Open the Netflix app.
2.         Browse all TV shows and movies available for download:
3.         iPhone, iPad, Android, or Fire devices: Tap Downloads > See What You Can Download
4.         Chromebook: Click Downloads > Find More to Download
5.         Select a TV show or movie you want to download onto your device.
6.         For movies, select Download.
7.         For TV shows, select the download button next to each episode you want to download.
8.         Note: Android devices and Fire tablets also have a Download Season button.
