To enhance its tourism and investment goals, the UAE has announced several changes in its visa policy. A significant addition is the E-Visa, which simplifies the application process and eliminates the need for visas issued at borders. Travelers can now apply for a UAE visa online. If they meet the criteria, they can obtain their travel documents through the E-Visa system.
For tourists, a single-entry visa is available for 30 or 60 days after paying the required fee and financial security deposit.
The UAE’s visa policy outlines the eligible countries for an electronic visa and the necessary requirements. Pakistani nationals can apply for an E-Visa if:
They are traveling for vacation and tourism.
They require only a single-entry E-Visa.
Their stay in the UAE will be brief.
Pakistani travelers should note that they have 60 days from the issuance of their E-Visa to enter the UAE. Travel must be by air, as the UAE E-Visa is only accepted at international airports.
