Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced the launch of the Ramadan Relief Package on Saturday, allocating Rs 20 billion to support 4 million deserving families through cash transfers of Rs 5000 via digital wallets.
During the launch ceremony in Islamabad, the PM emphasized that the relief package would benefit all four provinces, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan.
“This year, Rs 20 billion has been allocated for this purpose, compared to Rs 7 billion last year,” the PM stated.
8070 Ramadan Relief Package 2025
The Ramadan Relief Package offers two forms of assistance: cash relief and discounted rations for the masses. Eligible recipients will receive Rs 10,000 in financial aid to cover essential expenses, and families can avail discounts of up to thousands of rupees on basic commodities.
Who Can Apply?
- To apply for the 8070 Ramadan Relief Package, you need:
- A valid ID Card
- Registration under the BISP or Ehsaas Program
- Not currently receiving financial aid from other government relief programs
You can visit the PSER portal, enter your ID Card and phone number, and fill out the registration form. Alternatively, you can send your ID Card number to 8070 to confirm eligibility and receive further updates.
