A Muslim’s house was demolished for chanting “Pakistan Zindabad” during the Indo-Pak match.
According to Indian media, the incident took place in the Indian state of Maharashtra, where a Muslim citizen watched the Indo-Pak match of the Champions Trophy, held in Dubai, on TV at home.
Media reports state that while watching the match at home, the Muslim citizen chanted “Pakistan Zindabad.” A local individual accused the Muslim citizen and his family of raising anti-national slogans, after which Hindu extremists demolished his house.
It is worth noting that the Champions Trophy match between Pakistan and India was played in Dubai on February 23, in which India defeated Pakistan.
Earlier, in the most crucial match of the Champions Trophy, Pakistan’s team could not even play the full 50 overs and was all out for 241 runs.
In this highly important Champions Trophy match, Pakistan failed in all three departments, while the batters turned the One Day match into a Test match by playing 161 dot balls in the initial overs.
