Cryptocurrency company Maxine said in a message on X yesterday that hackers hacked into its network and stole $200 million worth of cryptocurrency from the firm.
In a message on social media, Maxine added that currently, users will not be able to transfer money from our platform, as soon as our service opens, users will be able to use it. Maxine describes itself as a network for transferring digital assets. According to its website, it has one million users.
On the other hand, according to Blockchain Research Firm, the theft of $200 million by hackers is the 10th largest theft of all time and the largest of 2023. Previously, hackers stole 3.8 billion USD worth of cryptocurrency in the year 2022.
