Mehwish Hayat, who has allegedly been accused in the ongoing controversy stirred up by London based Major (retired) Adil Raja, has now warned that she will not allow anyone to defame her name in this way.
Now as we all are aware of the ongoing controversy initiated by Adil Raja after he claimed that some actresses were used as ‘honey traps’ by the country’s powerful quarters.
After his tweet, Kubra Khan came forward and vowed to take legal action against ex-Pak army officer Major (retd) Adil Raja for leveling false allegations against her.

Now Mehwish Hayat has also shown disappointment and took to her Instagram story where she clearly mentioned that just because she is an actress doesn’t mean her name can be dragged through the mud.
As per Mehwish Hayat, people can go to any extent as they are hungry for cheap publicity and stardom. “Hope you are enjoying your two minutes of fame,” said Mehwish indicating the recent raja fiasco.
“Just because I am an actress doesn’t mean my name can be dragged through the mud,” she said by adding, “Shame on you for spreading baseless allegations and insinuations about someone you know nothing about, and even bigger shame on people who blindly believe his bullshit.”

“This just shows the sickness of our society that laps up this gutter journalism without any thought. But this stops and it stops now. I will not allow anyone to defame my name in this way anymore!” she concluded her post with a warning.
