KARACHI: Two persons attacked and desecrated a Hindu temple in the Narainpura area of Ranchore Line, Karachi, smashed idols and damaged other things.
According to sources, the temple was attacked by two persons in Narainpura area of Ranchore Line. The situation in the area became tense after the attack.
Getting the information, a heavy contingent of police and Rangers arrived and brought the situation under control. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Ramzan Ghanchi along with his team immediately rushed to the affected temple and brought the situation under control.
According to sources, one of the two persons involved in the incident has been arrested and a case is being registered against him, while the other has managed to escape.
MNA Aftab Siddiqui’s coordinator also visited the temple. On the occasion, he strongly condemned the incident and reassured the people about the action against those involved in the vandalism.
