Usman Mukhtar has been replaced in an upcoming drama ‘Ghair’ by Usama Khan
Directed by Yasir Nawaz, the drama serial stars Ushna Shah in the leading role. He was all set to appear in ARY Digital’s upcoming drama ‘Ghair’, however, he is no longer part of it.
Many social media users asked the reason for his sudden replacement and it turns out Usman Mukhtar had to go back to Islamabad as his mother was seriously unwell.

She was in the ICU for days and even went on a ventilator. Thus Usman had to leave shooting and after the illness prolonged, he asked the director himself to replace him as there were date issues with other actors working in the drama.
Moreover, Yasir Nawaz himslef confirmed that Usman had to leave the project due to his mother’s condition and asked the team to cast someone else in his place.
Born in 1985, Mukhtar began his career as a filmmaker in 2006 and as a theatre actor in 2007. He got his break as a film actor with a role in ‘Janaan’. In 2019, Mukhtar starred in the Hum TV drama Anaa.
In April 2022, he became a producer after launching Eastern Terrestrial (ET) Studios with actor Meiraj Haq, the production house aiming to discover and help new talents.
In June 2022, he released Gulabo Rani, a horror short film that won the Best Short Film Award at the 2022 Los Angeles Sci-Fi & Horror Festival.
