Salman Khan starrer ‘Tiger 3’ has become the talk of the town regarding its OTT release in Pakistan.
The highly adrenaline-pumping sequel ‘Tiger 3’ had its OTT debut worldwide on Prime Video on January 5, 2024. However, Pakistanis are still unable to watch it, but why? Let’s find out:
Tiger 3
Tiger 3 serves as a sequel to the 2017 blockbuster ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ (2012). Directed by Maneesh Sharma, in the threequel, Avinash Singh Rathore aka ‘Tiger’ is framed as a traitor, and he goes on a life-threatening crusade to clear his and his family’s name.
Who’s in the cast?
Besides Kaif and Khan, who reprise their role as Zoya and Tiger, the stellar cast includes Emraan Hashmi, Revathi, Ashutosh Rana, Ranvir Shorey, Riddhi Dogra, and Vishal Jethwa. Tiger 3 features Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan in special appearances. It was a desi Avengers moment of sorts, as three stars of Bollywood were seen in one film.
Why Pakistanis cannot watch ‘Tiger 3’?
The global release of the thrilling narrative and high-octane action sequences that ‘Tiger 3’ attracted many fans, however, Amazon Prime Video did not stream the movie to Pakistani audiences.
This is not the first time that a Bollywood movie was delayed on an OTT for Pakistanis. Earlier Rocky And Rani had its OTT debut on Amazon Prime Video, however, it was released later in Pakistan, having at least a 10-day difference between the original release date.
So Pakistani fans of the ‘Tiger’ franchise, who are eager to witness the third installment of the successful action series, need to wait a bit longer for the movie to be released in their country.
