Dunya TV’s political satire show ‘Mazaaq Raat’ has been airing and entertaining for many years now. However, the ‘Mazaaq Raat’ team has been replaced with an entirely new crew.
Mazaaq Raat is a stand-up comedy and talk show was being hosted by Vasay Chaudhry on Dunya TV. Chaudhry hosted the show, with the Mazaaq Raati team consisting of Qaiser Pia, Akram Udaas, Iftikhar Thakur, Ayesha Shakoor, and Aoun Ali Khan.
Unfortunately, two months ago, the show ran into a controversy when the comedian Qaiser Pia made a joke about overseas Pakistanis, and guest Sara Neelam continued that joke insulting the overseas Pakistanis.
During an interview, the model said, “Overseas Pakistanis brag a lot when they come to Pakistan, but they clean the washrooms abroad.” However, the team at Dunya TV continued the show after the controversy. Now, the original ‘Mazaq Raat’ team has been replaced and season 2 is all set to air which will be hosted by actor Imran Ashraf.

Moreover, in a recent interview, Qaiser Pia revealed the real reason behind the replacement of the team and said that the overseas Pakistanis controversy proved to be their first and last mistake. He said that the guest lady passed degrading remarks about the overseas Pakistanis and they did not stop it
