Cosmetic surgeries have become a common trend in the showbiz industry, with many actors opting to go under the knife to stem the tide of ageing. However, Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan stands apart as someone who embraces natural aging and avoids cosmetic enhancements.
At the launch event for nutritionist Rutuja Diwekar’s book The Commonsense Diet, Kareena shared her philosophy on aging gracefully without resorting to treatments like Botox.
Kareena believes age is just a number, adding that her priority is to stay fit and ready to face whatever aging brings.
“I want to keep working on film sets even at 70 or 75, and continue until I’m 85. I want to be able to bend down to pick up my grandchildren and remain independent, without relying on anyone or a walking stick,” Kareena added.
She stressed the importance of a healthy lifestyle, saying, “For me, it’s not about how I look but how I feel. I focus on eating right, staying mobile, and maintaining muscle strength through weight training, walking, and Surya Namaskars. I embrace aging by taking care of myself naturally, rather than turning to skin treatments or Botox.”
Recently, Kareena has been making waves in the film industry with her performance in The Buckingham Murders, a gripping thriller that also marks her debut as a producer.
Her versatility and passion for acting continue to shine, as she balances meaningful roles with her commitment to staying authentic both on and off-screen.
