Hamza Ali Abbasi, who will be seen in the much-awaited upcoming Pakistani movie ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’, has shared a reason why he would prefer doing dramas but not movies.
Hamza Ali Abbasi was invited to a talk show where shared that he has been studying religion and is on a new path in life. Abbasi did dramas but he left films altogether.
He shared that the dramas are within a limit that he is okay with but there is content being produced in our films that he does not agree with thus he has not been keen on doing films over dramas.
On the work front, Abbasi will be seen in movie ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’. The movie is releasing on 13th October 2022.
Produced by Ammarah Hikmat, the film has a star-studded cast that includes Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Humaima Malick, Ali Azmat, Faris Shafi, and Gohar Rasheed.

This Pakistani film is reportedly the biggest budgeted film. It is the remake of original blockbuster movie Maula Jatt which was essayed by veterans of Pakistan, Sultan Rahi & Mustafa Qureshi, released in 1979.
The film is a remake of the 1979 cult classic Maula Jatt. It is a Punjabi language action drama film starring Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mahira Khan, and Humaima Malik. The film will be distributed by Mandviwalla Films which also distributed films like Waar, Teefa In Trouble and Avatar in Pakistan.
