Famous for their Pyaare Afzal pairing, Ayeza Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi who did an ecstatic reunion in ‘Jaan e Jahan’, are playing the role of Mahnoor and Shahram respectively in the drama, winning hearts of Pakistani audience.
Ayeza Khan in a recent interview with the team and spoke about how happy she felt about working with Hamza Ali Abbasi after so many years and also called him aka Shahram the ‘heroine’ of Jaan e Jahan. She said that in the drama she is actually the hero while Hamza is the heroin as Mahnoor keeps saving Shahram at every point.
This is something she also enjoyed about the script and interestingly fans have also found Mahnoor to be a strong character and also the saviour for Shahram. This is why Ayeza Khan called Hamza Ali Abbasi the heroine of Jaan e Jahan.
Ayeza also said that when she was told that while signing up for Jaan e Jahan that Hamza was the leading actor who will play opposite her in the drama, she was happy and excited.
This is Hamza Ali Abbasi’s comeback on television and Ayeza Khan as Mahnoor is totally different from her previous character Mubashira in Mein.
Apart from the lead duo, the ensemble star cast of the serial features the likes of Nawal Saeed, Srha Asghar, Emmad Irfani, Zainab Qayyum, Haris Waheed, Savera Nadeem, Asif Raza Mir, Nausheen Shah, Mariyam Nafees, Saqib Sumeer and Noor-ul-Hassan among others.
