However, his upcoming movie ‘Pathaan’ whose teaser has finally been released is making rounds on social media. Here’s everything you need to know about his upcoming movie.

The movie is bankrolled by the prestigious banner Yash Raj Films and is unarguably one of the most-anticipated projects in the Indian film industry right now.

It is a spy-action thriller, which is helmed by Siddharth Anand. As per the reports, the budget of Pathan will be over 250 crores.
Plot
According to sources, Khan will be playing the lead role of the hero while John Abraham will be playing the role of a villain. Deepika Padukone will be playing the role of heroine opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
The film critic Kamal R Khan has leaked the story through his tweets. According to his tweet, Shah Rukh Khan will be playing the RAW agent, John Abraham will be playing as Russian Mafia, and DeepikaPadukone will play as a police officer.
Cast
The movie features Shah Rukh Khan in the titular role. Deepika Padukone is playing the female lead opposite the Bollywood Badshah in the movie.
John Abraham will be seen playing a negative character in the film. Velez Badurgov will act as the police guard in Pathan. Besides all of them, Dimple Kapadia, Gautam Rode, Shaji Choudhury and Gavie Chalal will be in a major role. Probably the best part of the movie will be the cameo by Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan.
Release date
After filming for over 1.5 years, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathaan’ is scheduled for a theatrical release on 25 January 2023.
