Last week, a CCTV camera captured a man harassing a woman in North Karachi, leaving many people shocked. Among them was Pakistani actor Zara Noor Abbas, who took to social media on Tuesday to express her outrage.
The video shows a man riding a motorcycle with a child on a Karachi street, harassing a woman whose face and head were covered in a hijab. Notably, the incident occurred in broad daylight and in the presence of the child.
Zara, 33, shared the video on her Instagram story on Monday, writing “Raising another generation of harassers while they are on the bike. Children are puppets. They do what they see. And this man on the bike is leading by example here for the child.”
“I wish I had the right to kill,” she added in extreme frustration.
Other celebrities, including Sajal Aly and Maryam Nafees, also condemned the incident, joining Zara Noor Abbas in expressing their disapproval.
