British heartthrob Henry Cavill became the real Superman when he saved the life of his costar at the sets of ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Alex Pettyfer, the 33-year-old actor revealed that his costar Cavill prevented him from drowning on the set of the film, thus saving his life.
He applauded the actor for his work ethic and teamwork, before detailing the instance where he almost fell off a boat. “He saved me from falling off a boat,” Pettyfer confessed. “I nearly drowned!” “So I can officially say I’ve been saved by Henry. And I’m very grateful to be on this film with him,” he enthused.
‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’ follows a secret organisation during the Second World War, with the synopsis teasing that they gave birth to ‘modern black operations’. Despite the release date currently scheduled for April, footage for the feature is yet to be released.
In addition to Cavill, the stellar cast for the movie includes Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Henry Golding, Alex Pettyfer, and Cary Elwes, with Ritchie co-writing the screenplay alongside Arash Amel, Eric Johnson and Paul Tamasy.
