Users in Pakistan can access the social media platform X without VPNs Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) on Wednesday.
It may be noted that X was banned in Pakistan for a year now. Authorities blocked XÂ since February 17Â after protests swept the country over allegations of vote rigging in a general election.
Today, several users of the app took to the platform to share that they were able to access X (formerly Twitter) without VPN.
However, officially, there is no announcement or clarification about the opening of X in the country.
Some users, are of the view that the authority may have open the X in the country for a short time amid rising tensions with India and it will be closed again within hours or after a day or more.
It should be noted that the war between Indian and Pakistan is also being fought on social media by the people of both countries. Indian has blocked many Pakistani YouTube channels and the X accounts of different celebrities.
