Pakistani actress Hania Aamir has expressed sorrow and anger over the video of a bottle being thrown at Talha Anjum during a concert, saying that throwing objects at an artist is an inhumane act.
According to details, rap singer Talha Anjum recently performed at a concert where a fan threw a water bottle at him during his performance. Following this, Talha Anjum pointed toward the crowd and instructed a security guard to bring the fan onto the stage, after which the fan was escorted out of the concert.
The video went viral on social media, prompting a reaction from actress Hania Aamir. Sharing a story on her Instagram account, the actress wrote that throwing things at an artist during a performance is not only disrespectful but also inhumane.
The actress wrote that you cannot demand art without offering respect; no artist should have to perform in an environment where there is danger and no dignity.
She further wrote that Talha Anjum belongs on stage, not a battlefield—hold the crowd accountable, not the artist. If we don’t protect our artists, we don’t deserve them.
In her story, the actress also wrote that Talha Anjum is an artist, not a target—give a public figure some respect.
