The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has awarded a cash prize of PKR 5 million to Paralympic athlete Haider Ali in recognition of his bronze medal win for Pakistan.
This award was granted under the PSB’s recently approved policy, which aims to support and encourage athletes who excel at national and international levels. The cheque was presented to Haider Ali by Rana Sanaullah Khan, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Inter-Provincial Coordination, during a ceremony held to celebrate his achievement.
Speaking at the event, Rana Sanaullah praised Haider Ali’s dedication and perseverance, highlighting how his success has brought pride to the nation. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to promoting sports and encouraging athletes through such initiatives.
The Director General of PSB and other officials present also lauded Haider Ali’s remarkable performance, describing the cash prize as a well-deserved recognition of his contributions to Pakistan’s sports landscape.
Under this new policy, the PSB aims to reward other athletes who achieve success at both national and international levels, fostering a culture of excellence and motivating future talent to bring glory to the country.
