KARACHI: A local court on Monday approved two-day physical remand of six accused in Karachi’s Gulbahar building collapse case.
Rizvia police investigation team presented six accused including the builder and apprehended officials of Sindh Building Control Authority before the court of Judicial Magistrate Central.
The court approved two days’ physical remand of the accused on appeal of the police. Meanwhile, Police officials produced another arrested accused Hanif in the court of the magistrate.
The man Hanif is stated to be the assistance of the builder Javed. Earlier, the court had approved physical remand of five accused including the builder and the Sindh Building Control Authority officials.
Earlier, builder Javed, who was booked in the case filed at Rizvia police station, was detained from Punjab. Javed and his son sustained injuries building collapsed incident and admitted at a hospital; however, he was fled from the hospital to Punjab.
Later on the orders of high-ups, the police traced and apprehended him from Punjab. At least 27 people were killed and several others injured when a building was collapsed in Karachi ‘s Gulbahar area of on 05 March.
