KARACHI: With hundreds of mourners present, the main procession of Chup Tazia is on its way to its destination in the Sindh capital.
Due to the procession, the Green Line bus service will be closed today due to security measures. Strict security arrangements have been made on the passageways of the procession. According to the details, the procession in Karachi left for its destination at the appointed time.
Regarding the bus line suspension yesterday, the BRTS spokesperson said that the Green Line service was suspended only for one day which will be activated from Thursday at its scheduled time.

In view of the safety of the procession, double riding has been banned in the South and East districts. BRTS spokesperson said that the Orange Line bus service will continue to operate as usual.
It should be noted that before this, the Chehlum of 72 martyrs of Karbala, including Shah-e-Jawanan-e-Jannat Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and their families, was celebrated last month, the processions of which were taken out across Pakistan.
