ISLAMABAD: The PTI-led federal government has decided to give a ministry to Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan’s (MQM-P) Faisal Sabzwari, according to sources.
Relevant sources have informed that Prime Minister Imran Khan once again decided to change the portfolios of federal ministers in the cabinet; there is a strong possibility that Faisal Sabwari would be given a federal ministry.
The cabinet sources further claimed that the government has offered one ministry each to MQM, PML-Q and Balochistan Awami Party. MQM leader Khalid Maqbool Siddique has given green signal for the inclusion of Faisal Sabzwari’s name as a likely minister for the ministry.
On May 3, MQM-P turned down an offer of another ministry from the federal government, demanding to first fulfil previous promises from the party. Sources said the MQM-P was offered another ministry in the federal cabinet by a senior minister.
