The federal government has announced that December 27 is the official deadline for pilgrims to submit the second installment of their Hajj expenses. This announcement comes as part of the government’s efforts to ensure a smooth and timely operation for the upcoming Hajj season.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, each pilgrim is required to pay Rs 4 lakh for the second installment, in addition to an extra Rs 55,500 allocated for the cost of animal sacrifice. The government has also outlined optional accommodations for pilgrims, with a double-bed arrangement costing Rs 259,000 per pilgrim, while a triple-bed arrangement will require a payment of Rs 86,500.
To confirm their payment, pilgrims are advised to collect a computerized slip from the bank upon submission of the second installment. This slip is crucial for securing their participation in the Hajj process, and the Ministry has emphasized that failure to meet the payment deadline could result in delays or complications.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has urged all pilgrims to adhere to the deadlines and requirements to ensure that the Hajj pilgrimage proceeds without any hitches. The government is working to make the entire process efficient and hassle-free for all participants in the coming season.
