Govt is taking steps to defeat coronavirus threats: Firdous Ashiq Awan

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan has said Prime Minister Imran Khan is personally overseeing the measures taken to overcome coronavirus in the country.

In a series of tweets on Sunday, Firdous Ashiq Awan said the government has taken these steps to curb with the international challenge of coronavirus in the interest and protection of Pakistani nationals.

وزیراعظم کرونا وائرس کے تدارک کیلئے اٹھائے جانے والے اقدامات کی خود نگرانی کر رہے ہیں۔ہدایات اور احتیاطی تدابیر پر عوام لازمی عمل کریں۔معاشی طور پر مستحکم اور شعبہ طب میں بہتر نتائج رکھنے والی اقوام نے بھی احتیاطی تدابیر اپنائیں۔2/1

Firdous Ashiq Awan said these steps are also being recognized by the World Health Organization as sanctioned by its country representative.

She expressed hope that the diseases will be defeated with national harmony. She emphasized people to follow the defensive measures as adopted by developed nations.
