The government has raised the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by 54 paisa per kilogram.
As per the notification, LPG prices have increased by 54 paisa per kilogram, setting the new rate at Rs. 248.37 per kilogram. The revised pricing will take effect from April 1, affecting both residential and commercial users dependent on LPG for daily needs.
Meanwhile, the import price of Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) saw an uptick last month, rising by 4 cents per MMBTU. The updated import rate now stands at $12.94 per MMBTU.
In contrast, the government recently lowered petroleum product prices for the next 15 days. The petrol price was reduced by 50 paise per liter, bringing the new price to Rs. 255.63 per liter.
The high-speed diesel price was slashed by Rs5.31 per liter. Kerosene price was cut by Rs3.53 per liter, setting the new price at Rs168.12 per liter. Light diesel price reduced by Rs2.47 per liter.
