Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja responds to divorce rumors

Bollywood star Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, has responded to divorce rumors, stating that she and her husband have been together for at least 48 years, as reported by Indian media.

According to media reports, Govinda and Sunita Ahuja recently made headlines due to divorce speculation. The rumors were further fueled by reports suggesting that Govinda and Sunita were living separately—a fact Sunita herself acknowledged.

During an interview with Hindi Rush, Sunita stated, “We live separately because when Govinda joined politics, my daughter was growing up, and party workers would often visit our home. Since we wore shorts and moved around freely at home, we decided to get an office nearby.”

She further clarified, “If anyone dares to separate me and Govinda, let them come forward.”

Indian media has reported that the couple has been going through a rough patch for the past few years. Sunita mentioned that she has celebrated her birthday alone in recent years; however, both she and Govinda have denied reports of separation.

Govinda and Sunita tied the knot in 1987 and have navigated life’s ups and downs together since then. The couple shares two children, son Yashvardhan and daughter Tina.

Earlier, Govinda addressed the rumors, stating, “These are just business discussions… I am in the process of starting my films.” Govinda was last seen in the 2023 film Ragu Raja Ram. He recently announced that he would be appearing in Baahe Haath Ka Khel, Pinky Darling, and Len Den: It’s All About Business.
