KARACHI: Governor Sindh Imran Ismail on Friday once again contacted the disgruntled leader of PTI Jahangir Tareen in order to seek help for foiling no-trust move against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Sources said that Ismail made a telephone call to Tareen, who is in London, and discussed the ongoing political situation in the country, particularly the issue of no-trust move against PM Imran Khan.
Both the leaders agreed upon the point that the country could not afford political instability for long time and all political forces should play their role to bring out the country from the current uncertain situation.
On the other hand, the Jahangir Tareen group will discuss the current political situation in a session that will be held at 6 pm today. The session will be held at the residence of Jahangir Tareen.
During the session, the Jahangir Tareen group will decide about making an alliance with whom.
It is pertinent to mention here that, around 24 ruling party MNAs have defected to joint opposition and have publically announced that they will vote against Prime Minister Imran Khan during voting on a no-trust move.
