The government has changed the official office hours for the upcoming month of Ramadan, setting them from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM for all government, semi-government, autonomous, and semi-autonomous organizations, sources revealed on Thursday.Â
However, the government has yet to issue a formal notification in this regard. Ramadan is expected to commence on March 2nd, pending the sighting of the moon.
According to the sources, 15-minute break from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM for Zuhr prayers will also be given to the staff. However, banks, insurance companies, financial institutions, postal services, railways, hospitals, state-run mills and factories, and other emergency service providers will set their office hours according to their respective regulations and considering public interest.

Moreover, the Supreme Court will determine the office hours for all courts during Ramadan.
