Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Thursday, reversing gains from the previous session. In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs2,600, settling at Rs273,300.
Similarly, 10 grams of gold were priced at Rs234,311, reflecting a decrease of Rs2,229, according to data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Wednesday, gold prices had risen by Rs1,000 per tola in Pakistan.
Internationally, gold prices also fell on Thursday. According to the APGJSA, the global rate stood at $2,621 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a $26 decline during the day.
Silver prices followed suit, with a decrease of Rs50, bringing the rate to Rs3,350 per tola.
