Gold prices witnessed an upward trend for the second consecutive day in Pakistan on Saturday, in line with a surge in the prices of the precious metal in the international market.
As per the data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association( APSGJA), the price of per tola gold of 24 karat surged by Rs. 2400 to Rs. 338500, while the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold increased by Rs. 2098 to Rs. 290209.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold witnessed a surge of Rs. 1886 to Rs. 266034 in the local market.
The price of per tola of silver up by Rs. 33 to Rs. 3410 and the price of 10gram silver rose to Rs. 2923 by Rs. 28.
In the international market, the price of gold per ounce surged by $ 24 to $ 3201. Similarly, the price of silver per ounce in the international market surged by $0.33 to $ 32.28, the data released by the association stated.
