Gold prices drop in Pakistan

The fluctuating gold market in Pakistan on Monday witnessed a slight fall of Rs600, with the price of 24-karat gold reaching Rs214,700 per tola.

According to gold dealers, the rate of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also saw a minor drop of Rs514 and was being sold at Rs184,071.

Moreover, 10 grams of 22-karat gold remained stable at Rs168,731. 

These fluctuations are closely tied to changes in the value of the US Dollar, highlighting the intricate relationship between currency values and gold prices.  

The price of 24-karat silver remained stable at Rs2,600. 

On the global stage also, the gold price fell by $8 to settle at $2,042 per ounce.
