Gold prices in Pakistan increased by Rs1400 per tola on Thursday, reflecting international market trends.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola increased Rs1400 to Rs274,000, while the price of 10 grams of gold jumped by Rs1200 to Rs234,911, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Monday, gold prices remained unchanged.
The international price of gold also increased on Thursday, with the rate reported at $2,628 per ounce (plus a $20 premium), according to APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable at Rs3,350 per tola.
