Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trajectory on Monday, mirroring gains in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold rose by Rs4,000 per tola during the day, reaching Rs342,500 in the local market.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs3,429, closing at Rs293,638.
This surge follows a Rs2,400 rise recorded on Saturday, when the price per tola stood at Rs338,500.
Internationally, gold also saw a notable increase. The global price climbed by $40, reaching $3,241 per ounce, including a premium of $20, as reported by APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable, with the rate holding at Rs3,410 per tola.
