Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Wednesday, mirroring the international market as the price of yellow metal surged by Rs6,600 to reach Rs349,400 per tola in the local market.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams reached Rs299,554 after a sharp increase of Rs5,659, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Tuesday, the price of gold per tola recorded an increase of Rs300, bringing it to Rs342,800 per tola.
International gold rates saw a significant rise as well, hitting $3,310 per ounce, including a $20 premium—an overall increase of $66, as reported by APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices also edged higher, with the rate per tola rising by Rs56 to Rs3,466.
