Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Friday, recovering from a decline in the previous session, as the per tola rate rose by Rs3,000, reaching Rs307,000.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold climbed by Rs2,571, bringing it to Rs263,203.
On Thursday, gold prices had dropped by Rs3,000, settling at Rs304,000 per tola.
The global gold market also saw an upward trend on Friday. As per APGJSA, the international gold rate stood at $2,921 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking an increase of $28 during the day.
Silver prices also experienced a rise, increasing by Rs31 to reach Rs3,400 per tola.
