Gold prices in Pakistan surged to another all-time high on Tuesday, reflecting a rise in international rates. The price of gold per tola soared by Rs2,550, reaching Rs317,350 in a single day.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold also climbed, reaching Rs272,076 after a rise of Rs2,186.
On Monday, gold per tola had already hit a new record, increasing by Rs1,100 to settle at Rs314,800.
Moreover, the APGJSA reported that the global price of gold rose as well, standing at $3,022 per ounce, including a $20 premium, which represented a $25 increase for the day.
Silver prices also saw an uptick, gaining Rs25 to settle at Rs3,555 per tola.
