Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a massive increase on Tuesday, echoing upward trends in the international market.
In the local market, the price per tola climbed by Rs6,600, reaching Rs356,800. According to data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs5,658, settling at Rs305,898.
This follows Monday’s increase, when gold per tola gained Rs800, closing at Rs350,200.
On the global front, gold prices surged as well, with the international rate hitting $3,348 per ounce—including a $20 premium—marking a $66 gain.
Meanwhile, silver prices increased by Rs52, settling at Rs3,834 per tola.
