Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Tuesday, mirroring the increase in international rates. In the local market, the price of gold per tola rose to Rs306,300, marking an increase of Rs4,800.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold climbed to Rs262,602, registering a hike of Rs4,115, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Monday, the price of gold per tola had already increased by Rs1,500.
Moreover, the international gold rate saw an increase on Tuesday. According to the APGJSA, the rate was $2,916 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a rise of $47 during the day.
Meanwhile, the price of silver increased by Rs45, settling at Rs3,315 per tola.
