Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Monday recorded a sharp increase of Rs5,900 to reach Rs353,100 per tola in the local market.
The price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs5,058, reaching Rs302,726, according to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, the price of gold per tola had declined by Rs1,400, settling at Rs347,200 by the end of the day.
Internationally, gold prices also saw an uptick on Monday. The global rate climbed by $59 to reach $3,347 per ounce, including a $20 premium, as reported by the APGJSA.
Meanwhile, the price of silver remained unchanged at Rs3,456 per tola.
