Gold prices jumped Rs2,500 per tola in Pakistan on Monday, aligning with an uptick in international rates. In the local market, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs2500, reaching Rs269,900.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs2,144, settling at Rs231,396, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, gold price per tola decreased by Rs300 to settle at Rs267,400.
The international gold rate also rose on Monday. APGJSA reported the price at $2,587 per ounce and was up by $25 during the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained steady at Rs3,250 per tola.
