Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Tuesday, in line with international market trends. Locally, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs1,000, reaching Rs304,200.
Similarly, the 10-gram gold price increased by Rs857, bringing it to Rs260,802, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Monday, the gold price per tola had increased by Rs1,700, settling at Rs303,200.
The international gold rate also saw an uptick on Monday. According to APGJSA, the rate stood at $2,910 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a $10 increase for the day.
Meanwhile, the silver price remained stable at Rs3,350 per tola.
On Friday, the gold price per tola had reached an all-time high of Rs306,200 in Pakistan.
