Gold prices in Pakistan saw a decline on Monday, mirroring the drop in international gold rates. In the local market, the price of gold per tola stood at Rs272,600, marking a decrease of Rs600 in just one day.
Throughout 2024, gold prices in Pakistan experienced significant fluctuations, peaking at Rs287,900 per tola and dipping as low as Rs210,800 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs514, reaching Rs233,711, according to the rates provided by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, gold prices remained unchanged in Pakistan.
International gold rates also dropped on Monday. As per APGJSA, the international rate stood at $2,614 per ounce (with a premium of $20), reflecting a loss of $6 during the day.
Silver prices remained steady at Rs3,350 per tola.
