Gold prices continued their upward trajectory in Pakistan as the price of gold per tola rose by Rs1,346, reaching an all-time high of Rs300,046.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold surged by Rs1,154, bringing it to Rs257,241, according to the rates provided by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Friday, international gold prices hit a record high, with APGJSA reporting the rate at $2,869 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a $10 increase during the day.
However, on Thursday, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a slight decline, dropping by Rs900 per tola to settle at Rs298,700.
Meanwhile, silver prices rose by Rs51, reaching Rs3,378 per tola.
