Gold prices in Pakistan on Wednesday witnessed a downward trend as the price of gold per tola declined by Rs2300, settling at Rs341,900 in the local market.
Similarly, the rate for 10-gram gold fell by Rs1,972, bringing it to Rs293,124, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Tuesday, the price of gold per tola surged by Rs3,700, settling at Rs344,200 in the local market.
The global gold price also declined, with the international price increasing by $23 on Monday to $3,235 per ounce (including a $20 premium), as reported by APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs3,482 per tola.
