Gold prices in Pakistan saw a notable decline on Thursday, in line with a downturn in international markets.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold dropped by Rs1,900 per tola, bringing it down to Rs347,500 in the local market.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs1,629 to Rs297,925.
This comes after a sharp increase on Wednesday, when gold prices surged by Rs6,600 per tola to reach Rs349,400.
Internationally, gold also experienced a modest pullback, falling by $19 to $3,291 per ounce (inclusive of a $20 premium), APGJSA reported.
Silver prices followed the same downward trend, with the rate per tola dropping by Rs38 to settle at Rs3,428.
