Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Wednesday, mirroring the rise in international markets.
In the local market, the price of gold increased by Rs1,000 per tola, reaching Rs277,000. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs858, settling at Rs237,483, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
This follows Tuesday’s increase of Rs1,000 per tola, which brought the price to Rs276,000.
Internationally, gold prices also climbed on Wednesday. According to APGJSA, the global rate stood at $2,652 per ounce, including a $20 premium, reflecting a $10 increase during the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged, with rates stable at Rs3,350 per tola.
