Gold prices in Pakistan continued their downward trajectory on Thursday, reflecting the overall decline in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold in the local market dropped by Rs460 per tola, bringing the rate down to Rs358,595.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs394, reaching Rs307,437.
This decline follows Wednesday’s decrease, when the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs2245 to settle at Rs359,055.
Internationally, gold prices also fell on Thursday. The global rate stood at $3,372 per ounce, including a $20 premium—marking a decrease of $6, according to APGJSA data.
In contrast, silver prices saw a slight decrease. The price per tola of silver declined by Rs58, reaching Rs3,820.
