Gold prices in Pakistan fell once again on Saturday, mirroring a continued dip in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs2,300, settling at Rs342,200.
The price of 10 grams of gold also declined, falling by Rs1,972 to reach Rs293,381.
This marks the second consecutive day of decline. On Friday, the price of gold per tola had already dropped by Rs1,300, closing at Rs344,500.
Internationally, gold prices weakened as well. The global rate stood at $3,263 per ounce on Friday, reflecting a $13 decrease for the day. APGJSA noted that this rate includes a $20 premium.
In contrast, silver prices in the domestic market held steady, with the rate per tola remaining unchanged at Rs3,427.
